I'm making one. Using a quality lined navy blazer from e-bay. Got the patch made online by someone who does machine embroidered patches. Switching the buttons to gold tone. Getting red grosgrain ribbon, folding over the edges, and stitching through the middle for the trim. Got the tie online & my daughter will wear with gray pants & white button-down shirt.
